I Struck Pennies!
Detecting metal as a hobby might some day become our new defining act of paugh. Only time can tell. In short, avoid.
Case in point: http://www.thomasathomas.com/. For his untold hours of labor on both metal detecting and website creation, he still thinks digital watches are a pretty neat idea.

PS: I believe that "I Struck Monkeys" would have been funnier, but would have made no sense.
Physics can be Paugh
Stare at these Physics I lab stations. If you're not careful, they will take all the fun out of momentum transfer. Though, I'll say that the tracks aren't the key - it's the people crouching over them, making little carts squeak back and forth with their mouths slightly ajar.
I'll close with: the people above are substantially less paugh than what I'm thinking of. In fact, they could be pretty cool. Find them and shake their hands.
